Full description

Your guide will meet you at 10 a.m. by the church of Santa Maria del Mar in the Born neighborhood, not far from Barceloneta district. After a brief introduction to the church, your guide will escort you inside and share other interesting stories, such as the marks of the 1936 fire or the decorative stained glass featuring FC Barcelona.

Once we have completed the first church in Barcelona, we will walk to the Cathedral of Barcelona. On the way, we will stop at required spots, such as the Barcelona Town Hall or the Plaça del Rei, where it is believed Christopher Columbus met King Ferdinand and Queen Isabella after discovering the Americas.

You will visit the cathedral with your guide, who will explain the intrigues behind Lepanto’s Christ (from the same Lepanto war in which Cervantes lost his hand mobility) and the 13 geese from Santa Eulalia, among many other stories.

After the tour inside the Cathedral, your guide will give you half an hour to have lunch. Then, you will take a taxi, paid for by the company, to the magnificent Sagrada Familia. Your guide will first explain the Sagrada Familia from the outside, overlooking the Nativity and Passion sides. After that, you will get the tickets to enter the Sagrada Familia. There you can spend as much time as you need, as the tour ends in Sagrada Familia. Ask us to include a taxi back to your hotel if you feel you will need it.
