Full description

The tour will start around 9 am with a pick-up near your hotel, and after an hour’s drive, we will reach our first stop: the Aquaduct of Tarragona. An old Roman aqueduct built in the first century BC. After the Aquaduct, we will head towards the city of Tarragona, where we will start with a 2-hour walking tour to see the most important sights: the Amphitheater, the Circus, and the old city center… while we learn about the history with our guide.

After the tour in Tarragona, we will visit a small family winery. The winemaker will offer us a brief tour of the vineyards, where he will explain the wine- and cava-making process in Penedés. Covering the most important facts, like the type of grape, organic farming, and the fermentation process. At the winery, you will also enjoy a full meal with all sorts of Catalan products: «coca d’escalivada», «berberechos», local cheese, «pà amb tomàquet»… All paired with the wine and cava from the same winery.

At around 5 p.m., we will be back in Barcelona.
